As I outlined in my last blog, in 2025, we re-launched our flagship mobile solution, previously known as Mobile Informer, as UX Suite. But there’s more to the equation.

We’ve gone through a bit of an evolution lately here at Interloc. Our flagship product, Mobile Informer, was getting a long in the tooth. First introduced in 2010, Mobile Informer had provided innovative mobile applications for Maximo to customers around the world for a decade and a half. In that time, IBM had introduced several new versions of Maximo, culminating with the release (in June 2020) of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Officially version 8.0, the name change from Maximo EAM to MAS reflected a renewed commitment to advancing the capabilities of the solution, including a significant change to the underlying infrastructure involved.
