MAXIMO Business Analyst

The following defines the core role and responsibilities of the Maximo Business Analyst. This is not intended as a definitive list of all activities that a Maximo Business Analyst may take on and in many cases, it is expected that the Maximo Business Analyst role is just one of many that a specific individual may play within a project. The Maximo Business Analyst may also be assigned additional responsibilities by the Project Manager or Functional Lead.

MUST be a U.S. Citizen. No Corp-to-Corp. MUST have Maximo to be considered.

Overview

All responsibilities assume a full working knowledge of Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software.

The core responsibilities performed by the BA role include the following:

Requirements Gathering

The Maximo Business Analyst is responsible for meeting with the client to determine requirements and documenting the requirements according to Interloc standards. The Maximo Business Analyst is expected to guide the client in proper requirements and to ensure that the requirements document tracks true requirements and not client-defined solutions. The Maximo Business Analyst is responsible for meeting with the client and obtaining approval of the final requirements document.

Fit/Gap Analysis

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements and identifying each requirement as a Fit or a Gap, in accordance with the scope of the project. The BA is also responsible for meeting with the client to review the Fit/Gap document and providing options and workarounds for each Gap.

Functional Specifications

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing Functional Specification documents according to Interloc standards.

System Testing

The Business Analyst is responsible for performing initial System Testing as per the Functional Specifications.

Test Script Documentation

When required by the project, the Business Analyst is responsible for developing Test Scripts for use in User Acceptance Testing.

Management of User Acceptance Testing

When required by the project, the Business Analyst is responsible for setting up User Acceptance Testing sessions, providing user training in Maximo prior to UAT, and supporting the users during User Acceptance Testing. The BA is responsible for recording all issues in the proper Interloc software (currently redmine), identifying the criticality of each issue, and tracking each issue through to resolution.

Training Documentation

When required by the project, the Business Analyst is responsible for developing end-user training materials in accordance with Interloc standards.

Training Delivery

When required by the project, the Business Analyst is responsible for determine the training class schedule, reviewing this with the client, and performing the training for each class.

GoLive Support

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the users and the technical team during GoLive.

Windows Desktop Application Developer (Seattle WA or US Remote)

Interloc Solutions has an immediate need for .NET Developers to join our Product Development group. This is a hybrid role where you will need to consult with clients on their needs, then design solutions using your programming knowledge. It will include contributing to our existing application offering by implementing and expending the desktop variants of our award-winning Maximo mobility platform, Mobile Informer. Candidates will ideally be based in Seattle, but we will consider remote applicants within the United States. US Citizenship is required for this role.

Developers must have prior expertise in .NET development; we are interested in those who match or closely match the following credentials:

• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with desktop application development
• The following technical experience is central:
     o Development and design experience in C# (Preferred C# 7.0 and later)
     o Familiar with .NET framework (Preferred .NET Core 2.1 and later)
     o Prior experience with Windows App SDK or UWP (or WPF, or WinForm, or Win32, any other Windows desktop framework)
     o (Optional, bonus) Experience developing and shipping libraries in .NET Standard framework
• Some prior experience in design and development of Windows desktop applications

Maximo Support Engineer - US REMOTE 

Interloc has an immediate need for a Maximo Support Engineer to join the Interloc support team. 

This is a remote role. US citizen required; we cannot sponsor Visas at this time. 

The Maximo Software Engineer will be required to provide direct customer support for all aspects of the IBM Maximo product portfolio. This role will be part of a team that responsible for providing support to all of the North/South American region customers. The role provides technical support assistance directly (phone/email) to clients using problem determination and technical analytical skills. Will use technical and negotiations skills in collaboration with other support organizations to prioritize and work problems to resolution. 

This position will need to demonstrate advanced communication and customer service skills daily while providing technical and functional support for various Maximo products, applications, and associated technology components. 

You will assist, develop, document, and communicate action plans to clients and other Interloc teams as appropriate. Look for avenues to recommend/or implement new solutions or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, or processes. 

 

Required Skills 

  • A passion for resolving customer issues

Kotlin Toolkit Developer - Seattle WA or US Remote

Immediate need for a Kotlin Developer to join Interloc Solutions’ Product Development group. This role will focus primarily on the contribution to a new generation of developer-facing toolkit behind our award-winning Maximo mobility platform, Mobile Informer. Candidate would focus initially on the development of an API client for an existing platform, later joining the broader backend product team.
