Important Product Updates

 

Interloc is dedicated to your success with your Maximo implementation. To minimize any impact to your system, I will post a blog every week that contains all the notifications we receive from IBM that cover issues and defects with Maximo, WebSphere, Maximo Application Suite and all of its technology components. In addition, we’ll provide any security updates received from IBM. Some Interloc customers may require us to deliver you code corrections and other updates. If you are an Interloc client and need a fix or additional information on any of the items posted in this blog, please open a ticket in the Interloc Support portal and we’ll action immediately.

 

Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.2 Last interim fix release information 

IBM has released the last interim fix (iFix) for Maximo 7.6.1.2. 

The last interim fix for Maximo 7.6.1.2 was released on December 29, 2023: iFix 40.  

In 2024, interim fixes are to be released for Maximo 7.6.1.3 only.

Interloc Solutions customers on version 7.6.1.2 of Maximo can open a support ticket to obtain Maximo 7.6.1.3 feature pack and/or talk about installing 7.6.1.3.

If you are applying the latest iFix for Maximo 7.6.1.3 (iFix 017) from February of 2024, please be advised that you will experience the following error with Direct Print and Direct Print with Attachments.   
 
To be clear, Direct Print & Direct Print with Attachments will no longer function.

 

Maximo Asset Management and Maximo Application Suite Security Bulletins

IBM has released and continues to release Flash Security Bulletins when vulnerabilities are found in Maximo and/or middleware components.  These bulletins contain information regarding the vulnerability and where and/or how to fix it.  You can contact Interloc Solutions to discuss any of the vulnerabilities and get the Maximo iFix, WebSphere Fix Pack, etc. that contains the fix.  As part of our commitment to providing our customers and others in the Maximo community that latest product update notices, I will be posting weekly summaries of notifications we received from IBM.
