Technical Maximo resources needed for multiple projects throughout the US and Canada. Interloc will consider both full time and contract employment. We are interested in candidates who meet, or closely meet, the following criteria:
Essential Functions:
Provide technical services over lifecycle of project
Conduct Maximo installations & upgrades
Participate in solution architecture design
Perform application & solution development to meet project requirements
Develop & document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements
Manage multiple technical environments & support development & testing processes
Lead or assist in data conversion & migration efforts
Configure Maximo & assist in development of interfaces to external systems
Identify areas of customization & optimization & provide solutions to meet business requirements
Conduct system testing as needed
Assist users as necessary in support of go-live activities
Deliverables:
Technical solutions to meet client requirements
Design documentation, data mapping & technical documentation on a customization or interface
Provide progress reports for progress on plans, budgets & schedules
Provide action items lists & follow up progress for project issues & activities
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Business related field and/or equivalent work experience
Strong Maximo technical knowledge required to help execute numerous sub-projects within overall EAM Program.
Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in a technical position with implementation & utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system
Minimum of two (2) years Maximo experience
Must be able to convert functional requirements into technical specifications & configure, tailor & or customize the solutions including building interfaces
Ability to create & update advanced technical documentation
Must possess strong communication skills & ability to work well in a project team environment
Strong project team experience w/multiple successful Maximo project implementations
One (1) to five (5) years coding/development experience with:
Interface writing
Java/J2EE
BEA WebLogic application server
Windows 2003 server operating system
XML
PL SQL
Oracle 9i or later
Report Writers: Actuate, SQR, Crystal
Ability to lead sub-projects within overall EAM Program as may be assigned
Preferred:
Maximo Certification
Maximo Enterprise Adapter experience
Advanced experience with:
XML experience, including deployment of web services
MS SQL Server.
Visual Basic, .Net & C++
Exp w/extensions to Maximo business objects, class files, deployed web services, customizations, & configurations. Ability to determine correct solution to the problem, not just the most attractive technically but one which will sustain the implementation is paramount
Must be willing to travel for projects as necessary.
